Under the guidance of it's past Board Chairman, our own Barry Moore, we had an expansive tour of the Memorial. Starting with a warm welcome by Director April Cheek-Messier,Docent Kevin presented us with so many things we had never known before. Thanks to them both!!

Later, after an enormous lunch at the Liberty Station Restaurant, most went on to visit the Bedford Boys Musuem in what had been Green's Drugstore when they were growing up. Therein is their memorabilia and the teletype machine that received the news of the town's loss of 19 at the very onset of the Normandie Landings. The greatest per capita loss of any town in the US.
